Chrono Odyssey Eden Mode – Everything we Know so Far

Another amazing Chrono Odyssey feature has been revealed! Chrono Odyssey Eden Mode was shown off in IGN’s gameplay video, giving us a first teaser of the game’s extraction mode and here’s everything we know so far.

Chrono Odyssey Eden Mode – The Game’s Extraction Mode

As mentioned, the IGN video briefly shared a look into Chrono Odyssey Eden Mode, and it has quickly become a community hot topic! Eden Mode looks to be Chrono Odyssey’s take on the extraction genre, with unique PvPvE dungeons that offer amazing rewards!

Eden Mode lets players delve in to dungeons, either as a solo or with friends, pick up loot, fight bosses, and kill players. Much like other extraction games, there’s a time limit, you can lose your inventory, and danger lurks around every corner.

There are some unique elements too! You can take portals to other dungeons within Eden Mode (presumably ones that are more dangerous and provide better rewards), which spawn after the map boss is defeated – you can think of it kind of like floors, each needing a boss to be defeated to advance. There are, of course, exit portals too, for if you’ve had your fill.

As with any extraction game, if you die or don’t escape, you’ll lose your loot. Considering the game is an MMO first, it likely won’t include equipped items, but anything in your inventory will be lost, it’ll be important to be properly prepared!

Chrono Odyssey’s Eden Mode looks to be an end-game activity and won’t be ready for the Closed Beta Test, but we look forward to seeing more about it in the future!
