Chrono Odyssey Closed Testing Stats, Future Plans Revealed

Things have been a little bit quiet on the Chrono Odyssey front, but we finally have some news! In the first-ever Developer’s Notes, the Chrono Odyssey team talked about closed testing and future plans, revealing quite a bit of information! Let’s dive right in.

Chrono Odyssey “Focus Group” Testing Underway

The biggest news to come out of the developer notes was that some form of testing for the game is already underway! Dubbed a “private focus group test”, some lucky players got to try out the early stages of Chrono Odyssey, including a few classes, events, and even a dungeon.

Not many details were revealed, but we did get a nice infographic that highlighted some of the things in the game. The newest, and most interesting, of the lot was a section highlighting the most popular content. Here are some of the things we can expect to see in-game:

  • Bounty Hunting
  • Field Bosses
  • Labyrinths
  • Trial Dungeons
  • Time Portals

Beyond names we don’t have many details, although the team did reveal that Bounty Hunting was the most popular. This includes tracking and taking down powerful targets (seemingly just some powerful monsters).

Future Plans

The developer update ended with the team saying they are still working hard and fine-tuning every part of the game. So clearly there is still work to be done. However, it’s not all doom and gloom! The message also said that we can expect Chrono Odyssey to be presented “very soon”!
