After a recent wave of whispers and leaks, Kakao Games have finally confirmed that the Chrono Odyssey Beta is almost here! The news are still a little sparse, but here’s everything we know so far.
Kakao Games Confirms Chrono Odyssey Beta is Coming Very Soon
Kakao Games held a Q1 Earnings Call on May 7, covering a wide range of topics for their wide range of titles, as well as company financials. There were quite a lot of details in there, but we’ll keep it short and sweet for the Chrono Odyssey fans (we’re all here for the beta news and there’s no shame in that!).
The studio confirmed that development of Chrono Odyssey is progressing well, and that a closed beta can be expected “as early as this month”. This means that the Chrono Odyssey beta could very well come in May! This follows with their previous confirmation that the closed beta will come in the first half of 2025, so even if it’s not in May, it will definitely (barring any delays!) come in June.
How to Get Chrono Odyssey Beta
For those wanting to get in on the Chrono Odyssey beta action, there’s a very simple way to (hopefully) get beta access. All you have to do is head to the official Chrono Odyssey Steam page, scroll down to “Chrono Odyssey Playtest” and click “Request Access”.
This doesn’t guarantee you access and no details have been revealed about who will be chosen, or how many players will be invited. So, once you click that button, you’ll just have to cross your fingers and hope you get an invite. There may be additional ways to secure access in the future, and we’ll make sure to keep you updated as and when any information is announced!
